Adele Bruggeman
As a means to learn more about the welfare system in the United States and explain why children of poverty are more likely to be found in foster care, she chose to be a Poverty Studies minor.
With these interests Adele has intentions of becoming an adoption social worker after graduation.
Poverty Studies provides her with a different outlook of the world, which she hopes to carry with her after her time at Notre Dame.
Besides being a Poverty Studies minor, Adele is majoring in Sociology and a member of the Varsity Woman's Lacrosse team. She has volunteer experience at the Boys and Girls Club of South Bend and Adoption Connection in Cincinnati.
