Andrew became a Poverty Studies minor after his experiences working in the Sr. Maura Brannick Health Center with St. Joseph County residents without health insurance.

Doing so inspired him to become more involved in helping the underprivileged receive what many people often take for granted.

Poverty Studies opens the door to exploring social issues in a way that suits each individual student.

Andrew has chosen to focus on poverty as it pertains to health care to assist himin my desires to become a health care professional that improves the lives of not only the sick but also the underprivileged.
