Regarding the minor Jason says, "The advisors for this minor are more than excellent and helpful. They have a deep understanding of poverty and if anybody wanted to know more about poverty this would be the place to come." Jason believes that he has learned a lot about poverty, and says , "...the most important step is knowing: too many people are indifferent or ignorant to the travesty that is poverty. Even just by learning a few things about poverty will make one a much stronger soldier in the battle against poverty, but this minor has more to offer than just a 'few things'."
