Hometown: O'Fallon, IL

Dorm: Walsh Hall

Major(s)/Minor(s): SCPP/PSIM

Maggie became a Poverty Studies Minor after her work with the St. Vincent DePaul and Karen Houses in East St. Louis.  Working with the homeless and severely destitute has led Maggie to understand that poverty is more than simply not having enough money, it is also a cycle of the emotional, mental, and physical consequences of that lack of financial stability.

In the South Bend community, Maggie works with the Robinson Community Learning Center, the Center for the Homeless, and the South Bend Juvenile Correctional Facility.

Maggie plans on remaining committed to humanitarian work through out her Air Force career and then hopes to retire and continue to work with medical aide groups across the globe such as the World Health Organization or Doctors Without Borders

Fun Fact: Maggie is a cadet in the Air Force ROTC Program.
